On the afternoon of January 12th, the unveiling ceremony of the Guoxiang Global Customs Clearance Research Center was held at the Pullman Hotel in Guangzhou. Vice Director Qiu Zhizhong of Guangzhou Airport Committee, Deputy Director An Xiangdong of Guangzhou Baiyun Airport Customs, President Wu Haibin of Guangzhou Airport Logistics Association, Professor Gui Shouping, leader of logistics and e-commerce disciplines, and Director Wang Gang of Guangwai MBA Center attended the ceremony and witnessed the unveiling of the center. Guishouping, a leading figure in logistics and e-commerce disciplines and professor at South China University of Technology, warmly congratulated the establishment of China's first customs clearance research center and delivered a keynote speech on "Strategic Planning for the Aviation Logistics Industry". Professor Gui first proposed that China should adjust its route and flight layout based on the three major elements of aviation hubs; Grasp firmly the demand of the international market; Three suggestions for developing local economy to support airport aviation demand. Secondly, Professor Gui pointed out that with the development of emerging business models, it is necessary to reposition the aviation hub. Finally, in the process of economic adjustment, attention should be paid to leveraging the role of industrial clusters and fully serving local economic development.

The goal of the first phase of the research center is to improve customs clearance efficiency and reduce clearance costs in Guangdong's transformation from a manufacturing powerhouse to a manufacturing powerhouse. The second and third stage goals are to establish a regional economic development index, provide early warning and timely avoidance of risks in the process of chain development.
